Welcome to this brand new blog 'Website and Blog Tips' blog has been developed to try and share ideas regarding building your own website even if you consider yourself a complete beginner. Before starting to share any ideas I feel it is necessary to point out that I am not a professional web designer or developer. I am someone who went from having zero knowledge about building a website to being able to have one installed in less than one hour.

The second point to note is that although as a complete beginner you can build your own website it is very unlikely to be to the same quality as if you hired a professional. Therefore it is important to consider what you need a website for and if what you build well promote your purpose or come across as unprofessional.

Obviously one of the big benefits of building your own website is it will cost much less. However it is important to consider whether this will be a false economy. In other words would building your own website help or hinder if for example it is for your business?
